1. Which platform to use (varies by agency & show)

The first thing to do is check which site is hosting your artist's show. For HYBE, SM, JYP, and YG alike, the platform can change per concert, so when a show is announced, check the designated platform first.

• NOL World (formerly Interpark Global) — Interpark Global rebranded to NOL World in December 2025 (world.nol.com), and existing accounts were transferred automatically. With full English support + foreign cards + passport verification, it's convenient for foreigners. NOL World is used for K-pop concerts, fan meetings, musicals, awards shows, and more — and the platform can vary by artist and show.

• Weverse — For HYBE artists, fan-club verification and presales mainly happen on Weverse. It has multilingual UI (English, Japanese, etc.) and supports overseas phone-number verification. However, the actual payment platform can differ per show — NOL World, YES24, Ticketlink, Weverse Ticket, etc.

• YES24 Global (ticket.yes24.com) — Often used for SM artists, fan meetings, and small/mid shows. English toggle supported.

• Melon Ticket Global (tkglobal.melon.com) — JYP / Kakao-ecosystem shows. Foreign payment is steadily improving.

• Ticketlink Global — A backup option.

💡 Agency → platform is not fixed. HYBE (BTS, SEVENTEEN, etc.) often does verification/presale on Weverse, but the payment site varies per show, and SM, JYP, YG also change platforms by show. Always check the designated platform for that show on the official fan cafe/notice.

2. Set up your account & verify ID early

• Enter your passport's English name exactly as your ticket info. If names differ, entry may be restricted (criteria vary by show, and it's sometimes fixable on-site, but matching it in advance is safer). Double-check right after signing up.

• Global sites (NOL World, Weverse) usually allow email sign-up. (Gmail recommended — Korean mail services sometimes miss overseas mail.)

• Domestic Korean ticket sites (e.g., ticket.interpark.com) often require a Korean phone number or identity verification, so short-term travelers are much better off using global sites. (There are exceptions, like an ARC or overseas-number verification.)

• Popular shows may need passport-based identity verification. Complete it at least 1–2 days before ticket opening, not on the day.

• Foreign-issued Visa, Mastercard, and Amex often work on NOL World, Weverse, YES24, etc.

• Some foreign-card payments may require 3D Secure (Verified by Visa, etc.). It depends on the card issuer, country, and payment gateway, so check your overseas online payment / 3D Secure settings before you travel (turning it on mid-payment can cause a queue timeout).

• KakaoPay needs a Korean bank account/ARC, and "KakaoPay Global" can be unstable under heavy traffic. → Have two or more different cards ready in advance.

① Fan-club presale (top priority) — A large share of good seats opens here. You usually buy an official membership (Weverse Shop / agency shop, about ₩30,000–50,000/year), then connect that membership to your ticket account during a "linking" window that opens only 24–48 hours before the presale. ② General sale (right at opening) — Korean fans sync to the second with Navyism server time and turn off the pop-up blocker (seat selection uses a pop-up). Log in with a single tab (multiple tabs may be flagged as fraud), and refresh only once. A white screen is usually normal.

③ Cancellation tickets (chwiketting) — When schedule changes cause cancellations, the system re-releases seats. Note the cancellation deadline on the product page and check around midnight (KST) — many people get tickets even after a sellout.
