• Community posts, comments, and Ask Locals Q&A
• AI translation and content delivery
• Notifications, bookmarks, reports, and support
• Advertising and creator programs (where applicable)
• Creator channel applications, review, and operation (where applicable)
• Creator revenue settlement and payout (where applicable, after separate consent)
• Points, payments, and related features (where applicable)
• Analytics, security, and fraud prevention

2. Information We Collect

• Required: social login identifiers, email (if provided), nickname, display name, profile image URL
• Optional: bio, country/language preferences, content you submit in posts, comments, and Q&A
• Creator application: creator application email, email OTP verification records, channel name/slug, activity grade and posts/comments/likes used for review
• Channel review: application status, rejection reasons, admin review notes, automated reference scores (advisory only, not final decisions)
• Revenue payout (where applicable, after separate consent): legal name, date of birth or business registration number, payout bank account, tax/withholding information, settlement and payment records
• Automatic: access logs, IP address, cookies, device/browser data, usage events

3. Retention

We retain data while your account is active and as required by law afterward (e.g., transaction or access logs).

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose data with your consent, when required by law, or as described in Section 5.

5. Processors and International Transfers

We use the following categories of processors where needed to run the service.

Data may be processed outside your country. We use contractual and technical safeguards where appropriate.

• Cloud hosting providers (e.g., AWS)
• AI translation API providers (e.g., OpenAI, for text you submit)
• Email/notification providers (SendGrid and similar, for verification, service, and creator-application OTP emails)

6. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing via in-app settings or joystoria.official.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 14 without parental consent.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and localStorage for login, locale/hub preferences, and service functionality. You may block cookies in your browser, but some features may not work.

8. Deletion

We delete personal information when it is no longer needed, using methods that prevent recovery where feasible.
