Community Guidelines

1. Purpose

JoyStoria is a space for K-culture, local life, travel, and fandom. We restrict content that harms others or the community.

These guidelines apply with Terms §§7, 9, 12, and 14. For community moderation, these guidelines provide the concrete standards.

2. Prohibited content

The following posts, comments, images, links, and similar materials are prohibited. We may act based on reports, monitoring, or review.

• Sexual/obscene content: explicit sexual depictions, pornography, sexual exploitation, any sexual content involving minors (immediate action and legal compliance)
• Hate/discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability, origin, or status
• Religious denigration or attacks on people for their beliefs
• Political agitation, campaigning, defamation, or hate based on politics/ideology; heated political debates that harm the community may be restricted
• Harassment, abuse, threats, cyberbullying
• Illegal or dangerous content: crime facilitation, violence, scams, doxxing
• Fraud, impersonation, spam, abuse of the Service
• Infringement of copyright, trademark, portrait/publicity, or other rights (see Section 3)

3. Music, video & images (copyright & portrait rights)

Fan discussion, reviews, and recommendations are welcome. Unauthorized use of others’ works or likeness may lead to removal.

• Directly uploading official music videos, audio files, broadcast or concert clips, and similar protected works may be prohibited.
• Linking or embedding lawfully public URLs (e.g., official YouTube channels) may be allowed, but posts may still be limited or removed upon rights-holder requests, platform policy, or valid reports.
• Use photos, likenesses, logos, or trademarks of celebrities or third parties only if you hold the rights or have lawful permission.
• Prefer content you created lawfully, clearly licensed materials, or materials you are allowed to use.
• If infringement is reported or confirmed, we may hide or delete the content and restrict the account without prior notice.

4. Boundaries

Ordinary opinions about culture, travel, and fandom are welcome. Content that falls under Sections 2–3 is not.

Subjective “offense” alone may not trigger action, but hate, denigration, harassment, sexual content, or political/religious attacks will.

5. Enforcement

We may skip steps for severe or legally required cases.

• Warning or notice
• Hide, delete, or limit exposure of content
• Limit features (posting, commenting, etc.)
• Temporary suspension (SUSPENDED)
• Permanent ban (BANNED) or re-registration limits

6. Reports & appeals

Use in-app reporting. False or malicious reports may lead to restrictions.

For copyright, trademark, or portrait/publicity claims, use the in-app “Copyright infringement” reason or contact us below. Include the target URL, your rights relationship, and contact details when possible.

We review valid reports and may limit or remove content as required by law.

7. Changes

Material adverse changes: at least 30 days notice; other changes: at least 7 days.
