A Day Trip Around Anguk Station for Caffeine-Loving Pedestrians👣

_{Today, I'd like to share a one-day course around Anguk Station that is perfect for those getting around on foot.}

👣 _{Cafe I Got Everything (National Museum of Korean Contemporary History Branch)}

_{For my first stop,}

_{I started from home, took the subway to Gwanghwamun Station (Line 5), exited through Exit 2, and walked about 337m to reach Cafe I Got Everything.}

_{The cafe is located on the 3rd floor of the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History.}

_{If you are inside the museum, you can take the elevator to the 3rd floor;}

_{if coming from the outside, you can use the outdoor stairs.}

_{Once I arrived, the stunning view overlooking Gwanghwamun and Gyeongbokgung Palace immediately caught my eye.}

_{It was a bit cloudy, which was a shame, but the cafe was still an amazing spot to take in the scenery.}

_{The cafe is cozy but has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making it quite comfortable.}

_{However, since it's in a business district, it can get very crowded with office workers during lunch hours (11:30–13:00) on weekdays, so keep that in mind. I visited on a weekday morning and was able to enjoy it quite leisurely.}

_{You can order via the kiosk and pick up your items when your order number is called.}

_{Not only was the view great, but the prices were very reasonable.}

_{With Americanos at 3,000 KRW and Caffe Lattes at 3,500 KRW, it’s a perfect spot for great coffee and an amazing view at an affordable price.}

_{I ordered an Iced Condensed Milk Latte (4,000 KRW) and enjoyed it while taking in the scenery.}

_{I saw someone next to me reading a book while enjoying their coffee, which gave me the idea to bring one next time.}

_{Since Kyobo Book Centre is near Gwanghwamun Station, it might be a great idea to grab a book and head over to the cafe.}

_{While walking from Gwanghwamun toward Anguk Station for lunch, I stumbled upon the Guard Changing Ceremony.}

_{Many tourists were watching, and the traditional Korean atmosphere was truly impressive.}

_{If you happen to be visiting Gwanghwamun during these times, I highly recommend watching it.}

👣 _{Hwangsaengga Kalguksu (Main Branch)}

_{After exploring, I started to get hungry, so I headed out for lunch.}

_{I visited Hwangsaengga Kalguksu (Korean knife-cut noodle soup), about a 13-minute walk from the cafe.}

_{I arrived around 11:30 AM on a weekday and waited about 15 minutes.}

_{This place is always busy; by the time I finished my meal, the line had grown significantly.}

_{I recommend visiting between 11:00 and 11:30 AM if possible.}

_{There is no numbering system; you simply wait in the chairs placed in order of arrival.}

_{There is staff to guide you, so the process is very smooth.}

_{They serve various dishes like Sagol Kalguksu (beef bone broth noodles), Manduguk (dumpling soup), and Bossam (boiled pork wraps). I ordered the Sagol Kalguksu (13,000 KRW).}

_{The broth was clean, deep, and incredibly delicious.}

_{They provided two types of kimchi (standard and white); the spicy, zesty regular kimchi was my favorite.}

_{Since I was dining alone, I only ordered one dish, but I definitely want to come back with friends to try the Manduguk and Bossam—they looked amazing!}

👣 _{OIMU Bukchon}

_{After a hearty meal, I strolled around Anguk Station and found a lovely boutique shop.}

_{It’s called OIMU Bukchon, and they sell stationery featuring charming, traditional Korean design elements.}

_{There were so many cute items that would make great gifts.}

_{I particularly loved their unique bookmarks. I hesitated for a long time but didn't buy one—I regret it now and plan to go back for one on my next visit!}

_{They also had a fun machine in the store called the "OIMU Naming Service" that gives you a traditional Korean name based on your date of birth. My partner and I tried it for fun, and it was quite an interesting experience—definitely something I'd recommend to foreign tourists!}

👣 _{Pyunkang Yul Flagship & Tea House}

_{Finally, I visited the Pyunkang Yul Flagship & Tea House, a place I’ve wanted to check out for a while.}

_{It’s a multi-purpose space where you can enjoy tea and traditional refreshments (dasik) while experiencing K-beauty brand Pyunkang Yul’s herbal skincare products.}

_{The space itself is incredibly beautiful, so I was really excited to visit.}

_{The garden and interior are so serene and aesthetic that I spent quite a while just taking photos before entering.}

_{I grabbed a seat by the window on the 1st floor and ordered the Tea & Dasik Set (16,000 KRW), choosing the Ritual Matcha Latte.}

_{After ordering at the counter, they bring the menu to your seat. They explain the items briefly, and you return the tray yourself once you're done.}

_{The Matcha Latte was smooth and rich, and the Dasik set included red bean rice cakes and dried persimmon desserts, which paired perfectly with the tea. Definitely go for the set!}

_{Sitting by the window overlooking the garden while sipping tea made for such a peaceful, happy moment.}

_{After relaxing with tea, I explored the other floors.}

_{If the 1st floor is for tea and refreshments, the 2nd floor is a space to experience Pyunkang Yul’s herbal skincare products.}

_{They also sell various beauty products and merchandise with Korean themes, which were fun to browse.}

_{The rooftop terrace offers a wonderful view. I highly recommend visiting every floor!}
