Creator & Channel Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to members who meet Gold activity requirements and apply for or operate a creator channel on JoyStoria.

If this policy conflicts with the general Terms regarding the creator program, this policy prevails for creator matters.

2. Eligibility & Application

• Meet Gold activity criteria (posts, comments, recommendations, local answers, daily moments, etc.).
• Complete creator-application email verification.
• Choose a channel name and URL slug that do not infringe third-party rights or cause confusion.
• Agree to this policy and the Privacy Policy (creator review section) when applying.

3. Review & Approval

We may approve, reject, or hold applications based on activity history, reports, content quality, and other factors.

Automated reference scores in admin tools are advisory only; final decisions are made by operators.

We may not disclose full internal review criteria.

4. Creator Obligations

• You must have necessary rights to content you publish.
• Disclose sponsored or paid content as required by applicable advertising laws.
• Do not post illegal, misleading, harassing, or abusive content.
• Follow the Community Guidelines (including sexual content, religious denigration, and political agitation/defamation).
• Do not engage in abuse, seed/fake activity, or disruption of the Service.

5. Content License (Creators)

You retain copyright in your content, subject to the license below.

You grant JoyStoria a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, reproduce, transmit, and display your content as needed to operate the Service, including translation, safety review, and legal compliance.

Promotional use (e.g., official social posts) may include excerpts with channel attribution where practicable.

Sharing content with advertisers/sponsors requires separate terms or in-product consent when those features launch.

Some content may be retained after account or channel closure where required by law or dispute resolution.

6. Sponsorship & Revenue

Sponsorship, ad revenue, and payout ratios may be offered later under separate notices or contracts.

During beta, we do not guarantee earnings or sponsor placement. UI labels such as “under review” or “planned” are not binding commitments.

Company revenue alone does not create a duty to share or pay until the payout program is open and you give separate consent. Launch, pause, and resume timing are set by the company based on financial, tax, systems, and business readiness.

When payouts launch, the Creator Revenue & Payout Policy (as amended) and separate consent apply. We will announce before launch. Specific payout terms in that policy prevail over this summary.

7. Changes & Termination

• Activity grades may change based on monthly maintenance rules.
• Channels may be restricted or closed for violations or inactivity.
• Creators may request channel closure via in-app features or contact email.

8. Disclaimer

We generally do not intervene in disputes between creators and third parties, to the extent permitted by law.

9. Policy Changes

Material adverse changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance; other changes at least 7 days in advance.
